iPads for Students
Many of our students lack the technology required to participate virtually in our programming and create original stories through podcast, film and the literary arts.
StoryArk invites students from all different backgrounds into a creative space to express what matters most to them. However, many students do not have adequate digital resources to accept our invitation. Some don’t even have phones! While schools supply Chromebook, these serve only as portals to the internet and often have shoddy audio and video connections on Zoom. They do not offer the creative tools students need to produce their original stories.
We want to provide iPads and keyboards for students who otherwise don’t have access to technology. We want every student to be able to participate as full digital citizens and creative artists. Will you join us in our quest to bridge this digital divide? One student at a time, we can do this. One student at a time, we can make sure all youth have the tools they need to become part of a creative team, engage in conversation with peers, and build storytelling skills.
