StoryArk Online - Summer Camps
Youth voice empowered, uplifted, amplified
Stories have the power to change society. They provide entertainment and for just a moment allow us to escape to appreciate the tales of another. Whether through podcast, film, novel, poem or song, storytellers are the most powerful people in the world because they can show us the vision of what we should become.
Join StoryArk alumni pre-professionals online this summer and professional artists as we share and uplift each other’s stories through podcast, film and the literary arts. Become a part of a creative team while engaged in conversation and storytelling skill building in a large group setting. Write the script. Act the role. Produce the podcast episode or short film. Imagine a novel. Delve into a short story. Weave a poem into magic. What’s your story? How are you going to tell it? We want to hear from you.
Connect and Create this Summer
Join our pre-professionals on small, creative teams that explore podcast, film and creative writing with the support and inspiration of guest artists including the Penumbra Podcast creators, Emmy award winning writer Ken Levine, television actor Charles Carpenter, LA cinematographer Ski-ter Jones, trailblazing actress Austene Van and narrator of the Magnus Archives Jonathan Sims. Local student band NUNNABOVE will energize our summer programming and be the featured student band at the StoryArk Festival. The band has stormed the Twin Cities music scene after their appearance on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT in 2018.
